Organized hiking tours through the Moselle Valley

If you are a true hiking enthusiast like us, we would love to invite you to join us. We have organized various hiking tours to show our guests the most beautiful spots in the area. Several highlights are located a little further from the campsite, but in that case, we will provide transportation. All you have to do is enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Senheim also offers plenty of hiking pleasure. From the campsite, a beautiful route leads through nature to the top of the (wine) mountain. Once you arrive at the white cross, you can enjoy a breathtaking view. This view makes the climb truly worthwhile!

Hike to the Geierlay suspension bridge

In Morsdorf lies one of the highest and longest suspension bridges in Europe, the Geierlay. We travel by bus from the campsite to Morsdorf. After we have all braved the Geierlay, we walk through the beautiful surroundings to the valley, where Jeanette and Paul, the proud owners of the “Fettsmühle”, have prepared lunch for us. After a delicious lunch, we are picked up by the bus and taken back to the campsite. Transport and lunch are included as standard.

Evening Walk

We do not only walk during the day, but will also regularly go for walks in the evening during the season. Before we set off, you will each receive a torch, which we will light halfway through the walk. A wonderful experience for young and old. Even for those staying at home, it is a magnificent sight to see all those burning torches!

Walk to a Vineyard with Wine Tasting

If you would like to meet one of the local “Winzers” (winegrowers) and taste various local wines, then the following walk is perfect for you. The “Winzer” will pick you up at the central point on the campsite and take you on a wonderful wine tour. You will not only walk across his vineyard, but he will also take you to his “home” for a wine tasting.

We would like to point out that these wine walks are not intended for sales. Of course, you are free to buy a bottle of wine, but there is no obligation.
